Iles Sanguinaires
A view of these islands at sunset will explain why they call them sanguinaires, but with our fantasy we think of ancient tales of Pirates who roved the Corsican Seas in the XVIII century.

Golfe de Sagone
Drop the anchor in the gulf of Sagone. There is planty of nice bays with white sands, always a good shelter from any weather and spend the next night at anchor under a sky full of stars

An enchating bay with red rocks and deep green waters.  Back to the XVI century, this is where the Genoan fleet , after years of chasing, captured the turkish Pirate Dragut , who had finally sought refuge in the old tower. If you want to try the only restaurant ashore, make sure you have made a reservation.  Finally, before sailing to the next destination, you might like the idea to exchange one of your old books at the grocery on the beach.

Swim and sail in the gulf of Calvi the whole afternoon but drop your anchor in time for the aperitif. Calvi is not only one of the village that attracts Very Important People in Corse but also the home of the 2nd Dep. of the Parachuters of the Legione Etrangère de France. Worth a visit if you like the kind.

You cannot say you have been to Corsica, if you have not drop your anchor in Saleccia, the Caribbean beach of Corisca. Enjoy a swim in the cristal waters, take a walk on the white sand. The contrast between the vernished woods of your classic yacht and the torquoise of the sea will be simply unfrogettable.
