Since its first edition in 1986 the Vele d’Epoca di Imperia is Italy’s flagship classic yacht gathering, uniting an extraordinary assembly of beautiful traditional sailing vessels. Over a full week in late summer, competitors race and demonstrate their heritage designs amid a rich programme of maritime festivals, parades, and social events that celebrate century-long traditions in yacht design and racing. Puritan, Orianda and Aschanty IV form the fleet of the big boats, while the Fifes’ Company, including Mariska and Hallowe’en cross their bows again, before les Régates Royales de Cannes.
