Since its first edition in 1986 the Vele d’epoca Imperia has always been considered the most important rendez-vous for classic yachts in Italy at the end of the season.
Every year Imperia becomes the background of a marvelous fleet of classic yachts, which get together after the Summer, in order to compete again, before the end of the season. Schooners such as Orion of the Sea, Puritan, Orianda and Aschanty IV form the fleet of the big boats, while the Fifes’ Company, including Moonbeam IV, Hallowe’en and Moonbeam of Fife cross their bows again, before les Régates Royales de Cannes, to become the winner of the championship.
